Touching down in the US of A

Posted by John Cotterill on

You may have noticed some changes on our website recently including some minor aesthetic changes, an improvement to our menu structure and product grouping and the introduction of multi currency viewing (though all orders charged in AUD). On the last point, we're in the process of establising a warehousing solution for the USA specifically to sell the god_mode frame initially before we move onto other products! This will be a real person based in the USA to fulfil orders. For now, the way this will work with regard to the store is that there will be a special USA warehouse category...

Why You Shouldn't be Afraid of High kV

Posted by John Cotterill on

Every time I stock motors I see an interesting trend, the 2300-2500 kV sell considerably better than the higher kV. This seems to be for a variety of reasons: I don't need that extra power so I don't buy it I can't handle that much power It's too much toll on my batteries What's clear though is that at the top end of racing, pilots aren't afraid to jump on high kV and in fact, often will fly only high kV. We'll be looking to reduce the labour cost on pre-installation once we've figured out a fast and cost effective way to do it (getting...

$2 Shipping $2 shipping proves to be a success with lots of people taking it up. Great to see! Shipping In order to improve our overall service, we're making express shipping on domestic orders standard at $10. For us this means one less thing to think about and for you this means knowing you'll get the quickest service. Our free shipping threshold for Australian orders has been shifted to $110 in response to an increase in our average order value. Long term $100 was not going to prove sustainable but we're glad to not have to shift this too much....
